How we earn your trust

This site puts the real, bookable river cruises in Savannah side by side: live prices, honest review counts, and no figure that a tour listing does not back up (see Savannah Lunch Cruise Guide: What to Book for a Midday Riverboat Meal).

Who is behind the site

Nobody here writes under a byline, so you will not find personal voyage stories on these pages. Facts get traced back to where they came from. Pricing, ratings and review totals are pulled from each tour's own listing. Sailing times, departure points and boarding rules come from each operator's own listing and from the docks themselves: 9 East River Street, River Street Landing near Spanky's, and the Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort & Spa. Two port tours also run out of that area, a real and separate product from the working cargo port that sits nearby, a distinction we cover in Does Savannah Have a Cruise Ship Port? What Visitors Get Wrong.

How the 23 listings were checked

Each of the twenty-three tours was checked against its own live booking page, with a second read taken wherever a figure looked uncertain. When a tour publishes no star average, no average gets invented here. The page says so plainly instead, because a blank space is more honest than a guess. The same standard applies off the boat, too: our piece on the Marshall House and Savannah's free riverfront attractions sticks to what is independently documented.

Ratings and review countsCopied exactly as the listing displayed them at the time we checked. Where a figure could not be confirmed, we say "reviews on the listing" rather than printing an estimate.
PricesThe from-price shown at the time of reading, in USD. These move with your date, so every price on this site is a starting point and the live listing is the authority.
Durations, group sizes, operatorsStraight from the listing's own fields.
Season dates and docksEach operator's own published schedule and the dock's own site, not a third-party guess.
